Energy Efficient LIghtweight-Sustainable SAfe Steel Construction (http://elissaproject.eu)
Are you interested in shorter building times, light & thin constructions, quality improvements through prefabrication and high seismic, fire & thermal behaviour of buildings?

The ELISSA project offers you innovative answers. We have developed and tested prefabricated load bearing lightweight modular elements with excellent thermal performance and in compliance with Eurocode requirements in terms of fire safety and seismic resilience.

ELISSA-panelOur concept is based on pre-existing EOTA certified light steel framing skeleton modules which have been coupled with mechanically and fire enduring Dry Walls Systems, Vacuum Insulation Panels, Intumescent Paints and Active Damping Devices to create robust load bearing lightweight modular elements that can be flexibly interconnected and ensure optimal thermal, seismic and fire performance.

With half the thickness and 75% less weight than a similar brick wall of the same U-value, the ELISSA modules offer a high level of flexibility and short construction times due to prefabrication. Adjustments on requirements and changes of building functions are easily realized.

The ELISSA modules have ca. 60% lower U-value than brick walls of the

same thickness and can offer up to 20% savings in energy costs(1); the fire resistance rating of the load bearing walls is more than 120 min and can sustain high seismic activity.

We invite you to visit us at the ELISSA stand E4111. You will be able to gaze at a cross-section of an ELISSA wall, watch our video and discuss with us the technical details and collaboration possibilities.
