The main objective in this area is to prepare a database that will include all relevant nanosafety aspects (manufacturing, application, end-use) of the nanomaterials or nano-based components/systems addressed in the Cluster projects, reflecting sustainability issues as a crucial aspect for the understanding and weighing of their benefit and the impact, and to ensure that these materials/components/systems can be safely returned into economic and natural cycles without any irreversible harmful effect.
